Every Father - Single

"Every Father" is the second single from *The Mirror Test*. It is the parent's version of the album's question. You build a curated version of yourself to hand your child, the version you can live with, and one day they hand it back to you in your own voice, and you finally hear what you actually taught. Mary Shelley wrote *Frankenstein* in the shadow of her own losses as a parent and a child, and named the book her hideous progeny. This song sits in that lineage: what we pass on to what we make, and the moment it answers.
